Listening to The Story of Martha audiobook, but all the anthology stories are at the end, so I’m pausing when she tells a story in the audio, skipping to that story, then going back to where I skipped from. I love stories where I have to find all the parts, Time Lord Victorious was very fun for this reason lol, tracking down the eaglemoss dalek stories and the individual issues of DWM, and then having it all come together to tell one big story is such a cool feeling!

Finished Arbitration last night. Really good story in general, especially after Evolution which was fine but not not great. That ending is amazing! Might move Series 6 closer to the top of my next listen list.

Enemy Lines was great! Maybe slightly too long - but only slightly, with amazing character drama, fantastic scope and a nice slow-burn set up to huge pay offs in the back half. Maybe a little predictable at points? But not in a bad or harmful way. Really really enjoyed it, especially the final part. Though PLEASE if you’re gonna keep teasing Romana III just stop undoing it !! I love Lalla Ward a LOT but it’s getting annoying making it seem like her time has maybe come and then it just hasn’t.
And finished Holy Terror too because jesus this big walk was Big. I haven’t heard it in over a decade. And it’s still incredible and still in the pantheon of best DW stories ever. Amazing dark comedy that by the end just becomes harrowing and miserable (in a good way). Fantastic, but yous already all know that.
