I would definitely say it’s better than it’s reputation.
But people, for some reason, focus on the parts where folks don’t have any clothes on and, as the Ninth Doctor would put it, dance. There’s definitely more to the movie, and Lauren is a genuinely interesting character.

Deathworld has definitely not gone the way I was expecting. Three Doctors confroting Seven Sins was not on my bingo card! And since then we’ve had Cyclops, spiders, Gorgons and Kali. It’s got better but isn’t blowing me away. I think I have too much of a disconnect between the three recasts and the real thing (and Noonan isn’t working for me at all).

They aren’t that bad. And it’s a gas-powered push mower, so it’s not that big and unless on an incline, stops when I do.

But i like the lucky dip, even if it means sometimes listening to crap stories (usually with 5 - someone at BF hated him back then i swear)

I was having a bad day today, and honestly for a lot of days in a row, so I’ve put on my ultimate comfort audios. Not Doctor Who, but the Känguru-Chroniken. They’re about a communist kangaroo moving in with a comedian. It’s in my opinion the funniest book in the universe and unbelievably German, so sadly I can’t actually recommend it to anyone who doesn’t speak the language

Listened to Ghosts of N-Space! Expected a lamer story that didn’t quite fit the format like Pescatons, but I ended up loving it! It felt like a VNA novel, and I can certainly see why it got adapted! I love when a story that I expect to be boring ends up gripping me!

It was actually a made-for-radio production along with The Paradise of Death · BBC Audio Single Releases · TARDIS Guide. Both actually got novelizations too. Paradise of Death got a Target Novel (The Paradise of Death · Target Collection · TARDIS Guide) and Ghosts of N-Space got a VMA[1] (The Ghosts of N-Space · Virgin Missing Adventures · TARDIS Guide).

Wanted to listen to 1, 2 parts of an audio max before bed and was dying to know what followed Project Lazarus so I skipped a release to do Arrangements for War. Ended up doing the whole thing in one go, its now 2am…
