None of those are the ‘proper’ cover as far as I’m aware because Mission is a 1 part story included in The Mind’s Eye CD so didn’t have it’s own cover.
literally pulled a random number from 1-279 and got 28 which is Invaders from Mars which i never did lol
Moving Target utterly broke me when I first listened to it. Absolutely devastating listen.
And then I listened to Broken, which is just as fun and happy-go-lucky!
Tried Extra Virginity about the world of Olive Oil yesterday. It was fine, the narrator was functional, but it didn’t grab me. Started Thrawn Ascendancy: Chaos Rising[1] today and am enjoying it so far. Right now though I’m listening to Doctor Who and the Pirates for Audio > Audio Club.
the first one ↩︎
I think I’m going to give Dark Eyes another go.
Invaders from Mars - 6.5/10 - A very solid story actually,I really liked the accents, aliens were really wacky and funny, but its a very slow paced story and the ending is kind of rushed and you kind of expect what will happen.
Currently finishing off The Voord Alliance from Susan’s War 3. I’m also potentially eyeing up the first two bundled sets of Jenny’s audio series. Anyone please able to tell me if they’re worth the purchase?
I’m gonna get onto Susan’s War 3 asap, whatcha think of it?
Personally I’ve not heard it but I believe @Tian was a fan!
I personally thought it was a better step up from Susan’s War 2! I found The Voord Alliance quite interesting in particular. The Last of the Kaleds also has a lot of interesting stuff in it too, though.
Would you say its better than the first set?
See I thought Family Ties was stronger! I put all my thoughts here earlier
Oooh nice, I loved the 2nd series so I can’t wait. I don’t remember the 1st as much as I heard it years ago. I’m wondering when/if we’ll get some (8th Doctor Time War spoilers) Susan/Alex meeting…
That’d be great!
As i type this, currently The Chase audiobook. Will probably do The Clockwork Swan tomorrow
I found them to be a lot of fun.
I just finished the last story of All of Time and Space from the Eleventh Doctor Chronicles. It’s good. The first half was a bit boring to listen to but it got better. Dudman did a great job as the Foreman. I didn’t realize he was playing him but I noticed that the foreman sounded like him at times. I only realized it when Valarie was talking to the Doctor at the end. Safiyya was amazing and I loved how far she went to save the Doctor.
Getting ahead on DalekWar for the club
Changed it, thanks for spotting that! Some of those covers were hard to find and a fan-made one snuck in…
Is the blue one the official one, then?
I see you’ve 100% my comment @Jamie - can you give me some more info? If it’s official I find it odd it isn’t on the BF site.
