The Auntie Matter was really Wilde. Maybe it’s just the accents, but there’s a lot about it that reminded me of old Oscar. A farce to be sure, and it plays right into Tom’s strength for comedy.
Hunters of Earth for me was just meh. The “Destiny of the Doctors” series gets off to a not particularly interesting start, though I did like the Magpie Electricals nod.
Finished the final story of The Diary of River Song
A 3/5 for this one.
Overall a good series, highlights being the ones with Missy and the Goo Snake Master, both of which had really good and imaginative stories.
Missy and River together was so much fun.
The Crispy Master and the War Master stories were decent enough but they kind of felt like they lacked originality in the storytelling.
I think I’ll go for the Fugitive Doctor stories next
(It annoys me (slightly, not really) that I no longer have that incarnation at )
Listened to The Murder of Oliver Akkron, while some other characters do appear its basically a two hander between The Eleven and the titular Oliver having a conversation. I really enjoyed it and think its up there as one of my favorite Collective stories.
