I will when I decide to actually listen to it
Yeah, we’ll have threads for the first three series dropping through the middle of January.
No, you have to do it now! In fact, you should write a detailed pre-listen review.
I mean, come on, use your ESP!!!
(please forgive me, silliness is my weapon of choice)
The last story of Series 3 drops January 18.
Just finished The Inquiry, onto A Blind Eye
Continuing through Absolute Power which is pretty trope heavy - extinct civilisation with mysterious secrets, alien power resurrected, unscrupulous businessman with nefarious plans, companion strapped to a bomb, translating ancient glyphs, ancient myths, ‘bimbo’ character hiding a secret.
But it’s all pretty enjoyable.
40% through the Monster’s Bones. Finished Time of the Daleks. Starting Neverland.
Changed my mind. Neverland can wait. Just listening to tunes.
I feel like this sometimes. I listen to so much audio drama that sometimes I just need to prance around to some showtunes.
In addition to working at my local library, I’m also the janitor at my small-town church. Today was exceptionally busy day (had to put back all the chairs in the sanctuary after a youth event) so much that I had to leave work to go to work and that I still have a bit left to finish after work. It was close enough to having to leave to go to work that I didn’t feel like starting anything.
Finished off “The Worlds of Doctor Who” with “Second Sight”.
I don’t know why the rating on this glorious site for this story is so much lower than the other three in this box-set, I found it really enjoyable and a good conclusion to the overarching narrative.
I ended up giving all four stories a 4/5 so I think it is fair to say that I loved it
Both of the “The Worlds of…” box-sets have been really good “screenshots” of Big Finish’s amazing audio adventures
Finished Star-Crossed boxset. My second favourite in 9DA so far! (Closely following Pioneers)
Star-Crossed really is brilliant, those are some of my favorite audios ever
Bought the whole third season of 9DA for £80 via Ebay (brand new) on Sunday.
I’ve already got the first two, but only listened to season one.
So going to revisit one and listen all the way through.
Now excited about Star-Crossed, sounds like it all ends on a high
80 quid sounds like a lot for one box set!
Listening to the new Bernice Summerfield Eternity Club. These stories are so fun and heartwarming!
Listening to Blood of the Time Lords. Great to start digging into 4s audio adventures. Story is really good so far. I’m not one of the fans that finds galifrey and the time lord boring.
I think you were joking but it was the four boxsets that make up that season.
The first and especially the last story in star crossed are really great. Best out of everything in that range. I didn’t really like the middle one though.
Oh sorry - I thought a season was one box set not four. My mistake. £80 is an excellent price!
