I love that we are getting more Target novelisations. I’m disappointed we no longer get pre-RTD2 ones though. I want to read a novelisation of The Stolen Earth/Journey’s End, that adds in more Sarah Jane Adventures and Torchwood stuff.

The Empire of Death novelisation has me so genuinely hyped!!! I adore the finale for the most part but it really could have benefitted from having some more time to breathe. Hoping that it throws in the cut scenes (the opening where the Doctor and Ruby see all the Triads, the scene where the whistle is properly introduced, etc) and elaborates on all the devastation Sutekh caused, cause that would have made everything hit so much harder. Give me the Ood’s eyes all turning red as they feel the impending disaster! Give me a Triad-Dalek turning all rusty and spooky as it destroys Skaro! Give me just more scenes where the dust is treated as the apocalyptic event it is!
Aside from that, Lux has me second most excited, given how exceptional The Giggle was. It will be interesting to see how they translate the cartoon stuff, but it is Goss, so I have faith.

I like that we have the novelizations but we had about 2-3 years of just RTD2 novels. I wish they did other episodes that could benefit from it.
