Great 15 fits on both covers! And both books sound interesting; sounds like The Spectral Scream could have some fun moral quandries
I think this means that 12th April is the latest that season 2 can start if it has 2 episodes on the first Saturday.
It is not what they did last year.
So excited for these books!
What is it they say about judging books by their covers?
“Eden Rebellion” also had a fantastic cover but a very middling story
I actually considered pointing that out [1].
At least the covers make me want to get these, but I sure hope they are better than Eden Rebellion at leastm
but didn’t want to spoil the fun ↩︎
Two out of the three 15th Doctor books (+ 3 out of 4 novelisations) have ended up on my Libby app as audiobooks, so I’m just waiting for these to pop up there at some point
(Still hoping “Caged” and “73 Yards” turn up there as well )
Did not expect Empire of Death to be one of them
And will it be like the Zygon Invasion which novelized both parts of the two-parter?
It has to be
I thought some about it and I think that I am excited to read Empire of Death. Maybe it gets better with more context
Wait? Lux is the animated one. How are they going to novelise those parts? With a comic strip inside the book?
Doesn’t work well for the audiobook does it?
And then the Doctor and Belinda turned into 50s-style cartoons.
- I am flat and this waist is impossible, Belinda said.
I mean, the Giggle novelization had games built into it.
That’s what I meant. They could just write it out like Tian did, but that’s boring. I hope they take the Giggle route here! Imagine the delight when you turn the page, and suddenly, the book turns into a comic.
Depends on how important the animated parts are for the narrative, of course…
I love love love that the modern Targets are a recurring thing
Considering it’s Goss again, I’m preparing for at least some flavour of fourth wall breaking tomfoolery. Not sure if a comic would make much sense, but would be very Campaign coded.
Yeah, I noticed it was Goss, so I’m also expecting it to be different from the TV episode, at least on some level.
