A bunch of UNIT audio stories are currently on sale at Big Finish. I’m wondering if the New Series audios are any good? Any of them worth picking up?

My favourites were Extinction, Silenced, and Cyber-Reality.

Silenced is the best of the first four. Extinction is good too. I was a bit disappointed by Assembled.

I’m a big fan of the series, it’s a lot of fun.
Depending on how much of a Third Doctor era fan you are, Assembled might appeal. Also seconded for Silenced in particular.

I like the series a lot.
Of the ones I listened to I liked Assembled the most, and after that Silenced was the best.

Was gonna make a thread on these but just found this one! I really enjoyed this range to be honest, I like the team that gets built up with Kate and Osgood at the helm. It has been a long time since I heard them, but there were some in particular like Silenced which I really did enjoy.
For years I hoped they’d do an arc rather than just aimless sets, and they finally did but I’ve only heard the 1st series of it, so I really need to relisten to that then do the other 3! Sadly had a couple of spoilers..

I wasn’t a particular fan of the Nemesis arc 
I found it way too hard to follow and by the end my feeling on the whole thing was ehhh. But overall the UNIT boxsets are really solid and I’m probably due a relisten some time

I think Nemesis will be up next for me. I just finished the UNIT ep in the Eighth of March S1 and I missed them so much 
I’m still sad Shindi isn’t in them anymore too. So I did Nemesis 1 when it came out but didn’t keep up, so I’ll redo it before I do the rest. Although, sadly I did get spoiled 1 major plot point for Nemesis..

Halfway through Nemesis 1 and really enjoying it. I didn’t remember a whole lot, but I do like how episode 2 is a bottle episode on the surface with some of the plot woven into it!

This is probably a bit of a silly question, but does Osgood have a pretty prominent role in these audios? I want more Osgood in my life, and I’m considering listening to these audios to get that.

The finale of Nemesis 2 was great. This is so good honestly, I love BF arcs and this one is super intriguing. Its not huge and bombastic as such, but it is big scale and intriguing. Still lots of bottle eps too!

Halfway through Nemesis 4… this set is really underwhelming me at the moment unfortunately. Couple of new characters, in the fourth set, like really?? I don’t care for them. Idk it doesn’t feel as epic as it should’ve been. Still, two eps left to recover!

So uh… just finished Nemesis 4. Umm… that was a huge let down. BF never usually let me down this much tbh, especially not when doing big arcs that I love so much. The first 3 sets are so so strong, but this completely loses its way. Actor availability for a character really ruined a huge chunk of it too.
Ratings below for all of the stories, its just a real shame.

I don’t remember having anything particularly positive to say about the entire UNIT: Nemesis thing… However I did rate the very last episode 5* for reasons that escape me now. I must have liked it I guess!
