I think 1-3 are really quite great, one baffling choice made but the ep itself is great. Final set just falls apart, and the lack of the Eleven is felt massively imo. I think he wasn’t available due to the fact the actors quite busy so they replaced him with Missy, which after 3 sets… doesn’t work that well. I love when BF do long boxset arcs like this, I need more

I can honestly not remember a single thing that happens in Nemesis other than Jacqui McGee </3 but I think I found them all a bit meh. Don’t think it helped that I listened to them all as they came out, so by the time the next box rolled around I forgot what happened

Yeah that’s the bit that really threw me off and I feel was a huge waste of a character. I loved her so much!!! Yeah that’s one of the issues with doing sets as and when they come out… I usually do, this is one of the very few 4 boxset arcs I didn’t! I did set 1, but never followed through. I don’t think I have any more big arcs left really which is a shame. I’m going to tackle The Robots next!

Quick question about the UNIT audios 
In my quest to 100% River Song, I need to listen to UNIT: Incursions.
Now I’d usually listen to the whole thing in order, but there are soooo many I really don’t want to do that right now for 1 (2?) stories that feature River.
Does anyone know if this box set is fairly standalone or should I do them all? 
(I do plan to do Silenced at some point cos I’ve heard good things about it!)

They’re standalone, sadly (imo). Nemesis is the only one that’s an arc! There’s the UNIT team but you don’t really need to be familiar with them I’d say, can give you a brief overview if you want!

I don’t remember it too much but I generally liked the UNIT audios. Nemesis in particular because it did an arc but the final set just.. really let me down lol.

They’re mostly standalone. Some things from previous boxsets are referenced. Boxsets 5 & 6 do kind of flow into each other. But for the most part you can listen to one without needing to listen to the others.
