Yeah! I’ve seen the whole series twice, maybe I didn’t make that that clear, sorry. I was so sad that it ended early though, I would have loved a proper season 3 :pensive_face:

I feel like I’ve already mentioned this, but watched all of the Owl House, loved it, watched assorted youtube channels react to it, etc…

(And also, indeed, I’ve watched and enjoyed all of She-Ra and the Princesses of Power.)

Just finished the second season of Squid Game. It was good, but not as good as the first one. It felt a bit like a transition until the last season. I am glad that we waited to watch it, so we don’t have to wait that long for the conclusion.

This show is like obscure and most of you wont get what i mean,but I started rewatching House of Anubis after 5 years since I first saw and man I’m enjoying it a lot im on the 7th episode of Season 1 so far.

It’s really irritating how few non-movie oriented channels are out there that don’t have commercials (I’m talking about conventional TV; I don’t do streaming). I can’t stand the commercials that are out there, content-wise, but I like having background noise on.

They’re loud, obnoxious, and straight-up stupid. Ever since I watched Mad Men, I imagine the teams of people who create some of these ads, and how they all think the finished product was worth subjecting the public to. And some consumer goods are so basic, it makes no sense why companies bother wasting their money on commercials (I know there are reasons).

There are certain times in the day when an ad break is taking up by one singular advert that goes on for far too long, and does the same thing again and again.

I’ve only seen bits of the original[1]. There was a reboot in 2018, which ran for 5 series and is amazing :star_struck:

I read the book first, and have read it a few times since, and it’s definitely better than the show!

I hate advertising with a passion, and will do all I can to avoid it. It’s brainwashing.

I have an ongoing disagreement with my wife over why she opts to watch stuff that we’ve got on DVD on Netflix with advertising. Why expose yourself to commercial branwashing when you don’t have to?
