TV Time - (but not Doctor Who)

They just don’t make banger theme tunes like they used to :smiling_face_with_tear: completely unironic btw I love the Space 1999 intro

If someone told me to imagine an Alien tv show, it would probably not look dissimilar to this…

Rewatched episode one of Celebrity 5 Go Caravanning. He’s definitely not twinning with himself (see avatar).

I’ve been watching a few musicals over the past few weeks and every time I finish one I want to listen to the soundtracks a lot for the next few days. Currently, it’s Six the Musical. For those who don’t know it’s about Henry the 8th’s six wives. Didn’t like it at first but it eventually grew on me. The characters and the songs are amazing.

We finished the first season of Our Flag Means Death last night. I don’t know if it was my mood at the time, but I found it absolutely heartbreaking. I was very affected by it.

That was a good one, and a pretty unique musical (to me, at least). Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812 is a historical also with awesome music. It’s based on War and Peace, though, and because of the number of characters and interweaving plotlines, it really benefits on the viewer having at least some knowledge about the book or one of its adaptations.

Such a good show and absolutely criminal it’s been cancelled after Season 2.

That’s the fickle streaming age that we live in.

Seconding this! I adore Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812. The music style is really fun, it’s been described as an “electropop opera”. Definitely a good show if you have any interest in literature or just musicals that deviate from the usual sound.
