I read somewhere (probably Doctor Who Magazine) that The Daleks Masterplan is unlikely to be animated as there are so many characters and locations to draw.
They must have made a fortune from Enemy of the World and Web of Fear, so Iām sure theyād find them if they could.
This is also one of the best '60s stories. Iām so happy that this was found!
And would you believe it was widely considered boring and mediocre before anything beyond episode 3 was found?
I have heard of that. That is why I always hope for Troughton stuff to be found. His acting is so much better in motion. Hartnell is also a good actor but his stories work okay in animation or telesnaps.
@JoshSnares share some great thoughts on the upcoming animation!
(Thought I did comment on this already)
Well exciting! I always thought The Savages was an underrated Gem, and now having an Animation will certainly help! Who knows, maybe this one will get reappraisal like The Macra Terror, it would certainly be great!
Still crossing my Fingers for the Daleks Masterplan someday (yes, I am delusional)
I promise you that the day I become a billionaire, I will give the BBC all the money they need to make this happen!
Realised I didnāt say in this thread, but Iāll be going to this with my dad!
You better spend that Money on it ! Or elseā¦
Yes, I just need to make that money first. Any suggestions?
Sell your Who collection?
Find a few Copies of Lungbarrow and sell them, easy peasy!
Oh no, if he dares to do so he will lose his license as a Doctor Who Fan, donāt you know that?! ):<
Heāll become a 100% #fakefan!!!
Itās a) very small and b) mostly digital, so it wouldnāt take me far, Iām afraid
No, Iām not going to sell what little I have. Iāve already had to tuck it away so my wife doesnāt have to complain about all my unnecessary ājunkāā¦
Hmm, I should start digging then!
