Seeing as how the latest DWM top 10 poll is so very, very wrong :wink: let’s all individually show how it is done, by giving the only true and valid Top 10 of televised Doctor Who - your own!:grin:

All the usual caveats will be taken as read:

  • “This is impossible”
  • “It will already be different tomorrow”
  • “It depends on my mood”
    All of these things are true and valid so just list the Top 10 list of your heart as it stands right now :wink:

Definitely very much subject to shift around a lot based on how I’m feeling but right now I think I’ll go with:

actually kind of surprised by some of these, I don’t think i’ve ever just ranked episodes before and some of these I wouldn’t have assumed would be in my top 10, no Green Death or Mind Robber, is surprising to me, Enlightenment was also pretty close to making it which was also surprising

Pyramids of Mars is one of those stories that for some reason I always forget. Which means I am constantly surprised by how good it is :grin:

its great, i love it so much, the only one on my list just because its a fun time, can’t help but smile from ear to ear the entire time i’m watching it, #1 bok fan for life

Oh that scene with the Brigadier in bed the morning after being at a party (clearly post-coital) talking on the phone and being outraged that Yates and Benton have taken his helicopter :grin: Just fantastic!

Most of which I’m still working through. A couple classic stories (War Games and Trial) definitely crack into my top 20 or so, but I don’t think any I’ve seen hit top 10

Anyhoo, everyone is obviously wrong and we all know why:

All on this list are subject to change - they’re all basically at number 2 after Delta and I’m constantly revising my views on the show.
