Five’s been on such a roll these past few years, so even if we’re in Season 21 rather than my beloved Season 19, I’m looking forward to this boxset

One part into Field of Miracles now.
Good so far, if a tad predictable. It feels very reminiscent of The Awakening

Done with Field of Miracles now

Part two was a step up from part one- a few very affecting moments with Joanie and Richard. The resolution was quite clever as well

An 8/10 overall

One part into Helter Skelter and this story is hilarious. I was slightly worried about doing a time loop story in just one hour, but it has assuaged that fear confidently

I fear I’m not feeling this set unfortunately

Started land of fools

What I’m hoping to happen Tegan does something and her and Jackie swap places Jackie becomes the companion and the next set is trying to swap them back but dose the doctor have the right this is just off the first 3 mins but defo not gonna happen

Land of fools is the best story of the set

Helter Skelter seems to be post The Awakening - Tegan references almost being burned at the stake

Helter Skelter was a barely above average story for me. Tegan was great Turlough saying he wanted candy floss was amazing. The Doctor being in the dark was a good twist but overall I was mildly entertained this is the one I was looking forward to the most

Helter Skelter was great. I had a smile on my faces pretty much the whole way through, and I do love a bootstrap paradox

Land of fools was the best of the set it definitely was a good twist to me, maybe M should’ve been obvious but in my head I kept thinking it was going to be the Master not michael but really great and really had me relate to Michael in realizing if I had the chance to I’d probably bring my father back

Unfortunately a slightly weaker offering this time around and more unfortunately Turlough doesn’t get to shine much in any of these stories. Helter Skelter is the standout for me though, that’s a new favourite. The other two are great at setting up all their pieces, less so at paying them off in my opinion.

For what it’s worth, this is 100% the intention, they play into this really well without outright stating it. It’s very inkeeping with the Master’s knack for obvious pseudonyms, he seems to put Turlough into hypnotic control via eye contact and he knows a lot about the Doctor and co, all the hallmarks are there. I do hope we get a story with this team where that is actually the twist again though. Even better if they don’t give it away before release!

Just listened to Field of Miracles, I felt like it tried to blend sci-fi and fantasy when it really should’ve stuck to one or the other, but there were some really interesting ideas and a brilliant soundtrack
