Story Variations - how best to handle these?

Love that! I think it makes good use of the space that was otherwise a bit empty.

That all looks really good.

Am I right in thinking you told me previously that I will get the 2nd Doctor badge if I complete the animations for the stories I’ve not seen the original of so I can unrate the main ones?

Yes that’s how it should work already! You can unrate the main ones now.

This is all working really well so far, except this one which has too many variations.

Are these all unique variations? Why did they do a Soundtrack in 2004 and 2005?!

Very frustrating! Might have to tweak the design here for a special case.

I was literally just browsing through and came across that one. Goddammit, Power.

Is there not a way you could make each link a separate button, then use a grid to put them in… so every button is the same width and will neatly go into a second row if required?

Yeah, will have to do that, just because of this one story :downcast_face_with_sweat:

This’ll do for now.

Not perfect but it’s only one story.

I think I’ve got them all now - If you notice any stories with two buttons that say “Original Story” let me know! Still adding more

OK now I just need to make it so if you complete one, it ‘skips’ the rest…

It’s looking really good!

Can we add an ‘audiobook’ variation to The Lair of the Zarbi Supremo? It’s an extra on the DVD and Bluray and read by William Russell?

Hello all!

@MrColdStream is popping by to say that he approves of this new design!

Also, @MrColdStream would like to inform you that he doesn’t mind compiling spreadsheets for audiobooks, even if there’s no point in doing it. Because spreadsheets are fun!

Then why have you not done it yet?

We’ve probably had this discussion before but should the animated Shada be on there as a variation rather than an adaptation?

Yes, just need to know the length of it in minutes, do you know?

Shada is a weird one. What is the ‘original story’ ? Seeing as there wasn’t really one?

56 minutes.

I still think the unbroadcast TV version is the original. It was released on VHS and DVD with Tom Baker’s linking narration before BF’s webcast version.

OK re: Shada but then I need to do some extra work on that one because there is a badge for doing all the versions of Shada, but it will go wrong if they are variations and will grant it too soon…

Realises he doesn’t have a Shada badge… (mainly because he hasn’t read the novel)…
