Ah, right. Problems with Doctor Who Variants, not in general…
Aren’t we already? You lot have real lives? /j
I think it will just be a label that says
“Other Variation”
And a tooltip popup that explains it some more.
So no design changes and no “Main story” then?
Which “Shada” is the main “Shada”?
We have not discussed Shada that much before this. But when it comes to lost episodes and books, it is easier. Mainly because a user who does not care that much can rate the story without specifying which version they experienced. If they want to rate it in more depth, they can rate both the version and the story.
That’s easy to answer. It’s “Shada”!
Obviously the original unbroadcast one from which all others have spawned. It was also the first to be officially released on VHS.
I think I’ll add the switcher buttons/tabs like the most recent visual to make it easier to see they exist.
But I don’t think I’ll do “main story” because I think that confused things
Okey. Sounds good. I like that you add buttons to make them more visibel.
Talking about visibility. Would it be possible to add more sets here (or somewhere else more visible)? It might just be a me thing, but I feel like sets are more important than story type here. I know that they are breadcrumbs, and that is good. I just feel like the different set a story is a part of is one of its main features, and that should be more visible.
Hmmm Set names can be long though. Maybe I add a little (+2) and when clicked it opens the Sets popup?
I like that!
What do you think about these little tabs (under the episode title)?
First image is Dark Mode, showing the original story.
Second image is Light Mode, showing the animation.
Looks great! How does it look on mobile?
Ohhh I like it!
Looks good!
@MrColdStream has no excuse now and can start with all the audiobooks inRevamping Story Imports – Get Involved! Now we know what to do with them!
No don’t worry about that @MrColdStream - what I’m gonna do is just duplicate every book that has an audiobook and create the audiobook version from that.
It will take time but I think quicker than redoing it all for a spreadsheet.
I think that it is best for @MrColdStream to do the work either way. Just in case
