The Movie my beloved!
The Horns of Nimon seems to fit this description for me. I had to make sure to give it at least three stars (I dare not blaspheme the Nimon).
How many Nimons have you seen today?
Well, if we are talking strictly Doctor Who, then I’ve got to say I kinda enjoy Timelash…
It’s not good (I don’t want to seem like an insane person), it’s pretty much awful, but everything is so absurd that I can’t help but laugh and enjoy this silly nonsense
And if we’re talking any medium… I watched Madame Web recently and… Well… If you watch it as a comedy… You can enjoy it…
Honestly, taking screenshots of that one was a lot of fun, and I got so many good Colin Baker ones from Timelash…
The movie is one of my favorite bad movies. I don’t think i can even coherently explain it. It’s so. Oh my god.
My review of this explains it as best as I could possibly manage
Maybe one of the best reviews I’ve ever read.
Beautiful.
Portents of Doom
Maybe not so bad it’s good, but so bad it’s really entertaining
I absolutely hate the movie but I laugh my head off every time I watch it at the sheer absurdity of it.
The End of Time, Parts 1 and 2.
Said some Dane, sometime, somewhere, probably.
I don’t know said person.
That “story” is just so bad that it’s bad.
It’s your parallel world self, Phill Biler.
Lucky that I don’t have a spare star to burn up to cross to that alternative universe and slap some sense into her!
Space Babies.
Yes, it’s awful, but that’s part of the charm!
more of a “so bad its interesting” enjoyment for me than a “so bad its fun” kind, but honestly a first one that comes to mind is cyberwoman. hugely understandable how often its on worst episode lists, would rank it there myself, but i cant deny i always really enjoy thinking about ideas that it brings up, intentional and unintentional.
There’s part of me that wants to be a bit sanctimonious and whitter on about how the concept of a ‘guilty pleasure’ or ‘so bad it’s good’ is unnecessarily judgemental and suggests people should feel shame for liking things which are ‘objectively’ rubbish (which of course, nothing is).
But I also love The Keys of Marinus, so I’ll shut up.
Honestly I will step into the fray and stand up for Time-Flight. We watched a documentary about Concorde in class today and so maybe that is the reason why I like the episode so much but honestly, there are many that are worse than it. And I like it so therre
It’s like we were separated at birth - I too am a fan of Time-Flight.
