Some people want to avoid seeing this stuff, so we should keep it out of the other threads please.
The new DWM comes with a couple of art cards, one of which is a “Star Certificate” which says “This star has been named Miss Belinda Chandra.” It gives coordinates for a star in the constellation of Orion.
The certificate is dedicated by Mr Alan Daniel Budd and the registration date is April 5th 2008. (Which was the date that Partners in Crime was transmitted).
If there’s any connection, the constellation of Orion was mentioned in Turn Left - Wilf says he was looking at the constellation and it’s now missing.
I wish I could be dosed with retcon, because this is maybe the catalyst to make me hate the show and RTD even more, the leak was like the Giggle leak but worse. Hoping its wrong, as I know people do get DWM early so maybe it was that.
If it does turn out to be true, this shows why filming S2 back-to-back was a mistake, RTD I bet wouldn’t have made these decisions (if true) after the backlash to the 60th/Season 1’s decisions.
The “leak” which was 1 random anonymous comment under a YouTube video? Do people really believe anything nowadays? brb, off to leave a comment under a Doctor Who video about the Meddling Monk returning in the Eurovision episode.
I don’t believe everything I read, but if someone present factual evidence from DWM that backs up a leak to the exact same description, it intrigues me. Go check the receipts on Discord I said the leak was 100% fake the other day If it ends up being true, coming from YouTube comments is the wildest thing.
