I know the first thing that comes to my mind with that title…
Am I being obtuse here. Why would people object to Space Babies?
I like it! Witherspoon the promo gif feels creepy
Because they’re Doctor Who fans ![]()
This is more marketing brain popping in but my biggest thing is that not only is it the big premiere, it’s the first episode that most people are going to see with the big push between BBC and Disney and the season opener is… “Space Babies”
Doctor Who really is the stupidest bestest show in the whole world <3
We love it for all the ridiculous joy it brings us.
Episode 4: 73 Yards

This is my understanding, since it’s the one with The Beatles and Jinkx Monsoon.
Probably the episode I’m most excited for because of it.
Let it be known that from now on I will call that episode 66,8 meters!
It does sound a little ‘childish’ and there are a lot of fans who need Doctor Who to always be ‘grown up’ for fear of being mocked.
I remember leaving a Facebook group because they went totally overboard about not liking Face the Raven as a title.
Doesn’t bother me but I does surprise me a little that RTD went with it.
To be honest, I assume any title with “the raven” in it is an Edgar Allan Poe reference. ![]()
There’s an Eighth Doctor/Lucie story titled Nevermore that’s full of Poe references.
Episode 5: Dot and Bubble

These titles are barmy!
That’s 4 episodes by RTD and 1 by Moffat so far.
Episode 6: Rogue

Oh my goodness, they’re actually letting women write this show!? (sarcasm, of course, but it goes without saying that the quantity of female writers on the show is pitiful)
Indeed. I do believe that they have said that Season 2 will have a much wider array of writers but that they wanted to get as much established for the direction of the show as possible for Season 1 hence the abundance of RTD penned episodes here.
