I remember the days when TikTok was this silly platform people used to make silly dance videos on. How times have changed…
Pure brainrot today sadly.
Everybody was collectively being gaslit when Instagram, Tumblr and all the other social media platforms allegedly “existed” of course
I beg to differ lol. Twitter was huge back then. Sure, tiktok wasn’t a thing but social media isn’t some new thing
It was still very different to today.
In some ways sure, but to say they weren’t popular is factually incorrect.
Okay, kids! Time for a story!
Once upon a time, when MrColdStream was a young teenager, he joined this social media platform that was just becoming this big thing. It was cool to be a part of this platform! All the kids were there! It was the place to be!
It was Facebook.
It was 2009.
Yes, social media has been around for quite some time.
Yes, you feel old now.
The end.
Of course, it is not the same hate every time. But it boils down to the same things in the end. The consensus is always that the show would be better if someone else were doing it.
You are so young…
Young, wild, and immortal
Should you be Captain Coldstream from now on then
Tried that; it didn’t feel right!
Maybe I should redo my pfp with the “captain’s” hat that isn’t a captain’s hat at all
“The worst Doctor Who showrunner is current one!”
(Not my opinion, just a joke I’ve seen in a couple of places)
People say they want Steven Moffat back now
I would love for the Silence to return, especially if they play it like a first encounter… after all, why would the Doctor remember?
Do people forget that “Timey Wimey”, “Allons-y” and pretty much every third Matt Smith line were quotable catchphrases? The amount of times I’ve seen “Bow ties are cool” on t shirts, stickers, mugs, the show has always been trying to get into the mainstream, and people acted the same back then, but now it’s aged and more nostalgic. Not to harsh anyone’s vibe, but I feel like they’ve always done this
I had a Geocities page…
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Well… his last series of Doctor Who was his best series. If he could bring back 12 x Bill type energy to Doctor Who, I would enjoy that…
Oh totally. I’m pretty sure the two 60s Dalek films were made just because the Daleks were so popular and they wanted to make more money out of them
