Isn’t there a rumour that the Master might pop up in The Sea World War Between the Spin-off Devils or something? Maybe he seeded that. Someone at UNIT picked up the tooth, and he escapes somehow.
Not a clue. I think it could just be left as a thread for someone else though because RTD plays with the idea that the Toymaker resurrected the Master and turned him into a tooth… then the Toymaker is defeated, so it makes sense to allow a relatively easy escape plot point for the Master this way. Otherwise, if the tooth had vanished with the Toymaker, you’ve just made the way for the Master to return potentially even more obscure and complicated as you’d have to allow the Toymaker back too?
TLDR; god knows

It’s also totally possible even if he uses it, that it was written as an open ended way to get the Master back, and then he had ideas about it later.

And it’s reminiscent of the mysterious hand picking up Saxon’s ring at the end of Series 3. It allowed RTD to revisit it, but it could’ve also just been left for a future writer if RTD hadn’t revisited it.

That hand is too smooth to be Mrs Flood’s. It’s a younger hand. The red nail polish is similar to what Kate Stewart has. Could be her. Or someone else. It’s definitely a gift for a future showrunner!

Jason Snell had an interesting idea for the finale in The Doctor Who Flashcast podcast:
What if Mrs Flood is from the Land of Fiction and she makes the Doctor’s reality a TV show, then in The Reality War we see Ncuti Gatwa (the actor) wake up and go through a normal day because the show is cancelled, but then somehow they fix reality and bring it back again.
Dunno if I’d love that or hate it. Especially if RTD himself makes an appearance

If they were going to do that, they could make it a multi-non-doctor episode. Bring in actors for a few other Doctors and companions, all playing themselves, not their characters…

Theory, mentions a certain ‘leak’
This DWM extract makes a joke about Midnight, regarding the well. Would they be so stupid to reveal it here? I don’t think, as Divina De Campo would say.
Now, as we’ve speculated, right wing idiot Andrew Evans could be the same guy with the same name at DWM. The first issue provides the info he leaked on Alan and other TRR tidbits. This issue also confirms that we’re getting the Mrs Flood reveal in episode 6 which he said weeks ago.
Could it then be, that he just had this info from DWM, and the rest is utter BS?

My theories about The Well, Mrs Flood’s identity, and the finale.
(this isn’t based on leaks as such but I think I’ve guessed it so I’m gonna spoiler tag it in case no-one wants to hear my theory)

The Well isn’t a Midnight sequel.
The unexpected sequel is actually the Interstellar Song Contest. It’s a sequel to The Greatest Show in the Galaxy.
We get a Tales of the TARDIS of Greatest Show in the Galaxy.
We find out Mrs Flood’s identity in the song contest episode, she’s one of the Gods of Ragnarok (Mother Ragnarok). She wants to be entertained, which is why she has been cosplaying etc.
They are the Unholy Trinity mentioned in the finale.
The leaks were wrong.
