That’s a good point. Having thought about this some more, I don’t actually think it’s true, but with all the fourth wall breaking from Mrs Flood, and the title of the last episode being ‘The Reality War’, it makes me think the land of fiction, or a similar thing, is involved in some way.
My biggest problem with Mrs Flood is that she is becoming a bit too similar to Susan Twist. I hope that they start to differentiate them soon.
Yeah it’s so weird that Season One and Season Two both have a different mysterious old lady that appears in every episode
I can’t imagine how or why this would have any significance, but I feel like it’s weird they haven’t released an official theme for Belinda yet. I guess it’s a more of an out of universe speculation question.
That’s a good point actually.
And there’s been a lot of re-use of music from RTD1, more than I remember them doing for a long time.
Slightly unrelated, but I’m loving the Cult of Thirteen YouTube channel because it shows you every time a certain piece of music is used in Doctor Who.
It helps you pick up on new things you might not always notice!
I’m terrible for recognising music scores in DW, I always think “oh I know that one!” but can’t remember the names

There’s still time! That could be an interesting finale
…and Mrs Flood is putting on a show for them, hence her nods to the camera
It actually would be interesting if Mrs. Flood’s 4th wall breaks were specifically talking to them.
She’s talking to them, the Gods of Ragnarok, aka the Unholy Trinity. Maybe?
Just like how they looked like a family for the Psychic Circus, it would make sense they changed appearance to fit the circumstances ???
There’s still time for RTD to change the finale title to “The Greatest Show in Reality”
Oh I love this theory. Even if it’s not them specifically, the idea that she’s not talking to us but to something else watching is really interesting.
Does anyone think it was Mrs Flood who picked up the Tooth Master in The Giggle, or is this just a gift for future showrunners to be able to resurrect the Master later?
My guess is that it is a gift but it is hard to know before the season ends.
This is my suspicion. It wouldn’t surprise me if RTD has his own ideas, but he’s left it deliberately open in case he doesn’t follow up on it and somebody else can.
