Sounds reasonable say I that don’t log Collectables
Yeah it takes ages to add the Collectables and makes me procrastinate not adding the stories, so I will just add them later.
I do add them for anthologies though.
dammit guess this means I finally do need to get round to reading the stupid Counter Measures Candy Jar books even though I think they’ll probably go completely against everything I believe about the CM team
Added the “Other comics” sheet, wow we’re really scraping the bottom of the barrel with some of these!
You can see everything I’ve added in March here:
I keep thinking: ‘At this point I’ve gotten to the end of obscure Doctor Who media,’ and then you find that there’s comics about a side character from the Dæmons.
And then you think: ‘Alright. Now I’ve really had it,’ and then you find a comic series about a character from an Iris Wildthyme short story who then crossed over into Faction Paradox, and also, apparently the second comic literally doesn’t exist anymore. Amazing. Queenie Tilbury's Guide to Smithereen City (comic story) - Tardis Wiki
gives you a Copy of ‘Doctor Omega’ NOW you have probably gotten to the most obscure Doctor Who Media/adjacent Thingy that ever exists!!! (until an even more obscure Thing shows up on Tardisguide at least..)
Added the Cybermen Comics!
Plus this!
Ah, but I know of Doctor Omega! I even know that it’s implied in a novelization of one of the BBV The Time Travellers stories with Sylvester McCoy that that character, ‘The Dominie’ is a later incarnation of Doctor Omega. Now, I’m just waiting for the ‘officially licensed’ crossover so we can have the original novel on the Guide as the first Doctor Who story ever published!
(also btw just noticed we finally have The Forge comics on the site. Cavan Scott writing a comic (you can see what i think of weapons of past destruction) AND it’s about that mf from Project: Twilight? (you can read what i think of that) Actually terrifying. I don’t think such a concoction should be allowed to grace the industry. I’m so gonna search it out to be able to mark it completed)
That would be amazing, having a French Novel as the first Thing listed on the Guide for Doctor Who would be certainly the most ‘Doctor Who’ Thing ever. (And I mean it’s in the public domain these days I am pretty sure so.. Tim Foley write a Story with Doctor Omega )
Added Cutaway Comics, including a webcast of Sutekh and an Audio Drama of Omega!
Question: When adding “Christmassy Tales”, there are several stories which aren’t on the Wiki because they don’t directly feature any Whoniverse content (although the rest of the anthology does), should I add those stories so the book doesn’t look wrong, or leave them off because they aren’t relevant?
I feel like we have had this discussion before. Don’t remember the outcome
I thought so too lol but then this spreadsheet seems wrong
I think that we said if they are in the same book we should add them all because it is annoying to read it but not rate every story
Oh ok! I think there are some anthologies on the site that aren’t like that. But oh well.
I might be wrong.
And I thought people agreed that if it isn’t Doctor Who it shouldn’t be on the site.
(Otherwise @JayPea and myself will be restarting the Blakes 7 campaign…)
But then there is Decalog 5 which isn’t Who at all aside from one Benny story.
If it isn’t Doctor Who it should be on the site?! It’s going to take a good while to add every single thing that isn’t Doctor Who to the guide…
I haven’t got a clue what you’re talking about. The curse of having English as a second language strikes again…
