I probably won’t enter because I haven’t watched any Thirteen episodes since series 12 in 2020, and I won’t have time to get to her in my New Who rewatch (I’m currently on series 7) before June 12th without skipping episodes/seasons due to schoolwork.

Also be aware of this restriction: Do NOT base any fictional characters on any real individual, living or dead; nor include any real individual, living or dead, as a character in your story. If I’m reading this correctly, this means no celebrity historicals. If your story is set in the past, all characters must be entirely fictional.

Looking at all these guidelines properly I think my vague idea works! I’ll make a start on the weekend, and as said before if I never finish or submit it that’s fine; I’m just here for a fun time

Just asking here cuz I wanna know how y’all approach it:
Do you plan out everything for the synopsis, or do you write everything (as in a rough first draft, fully) and then write your synopsis?

The story I was thinking of doing was very much a 1st Doctor historical, which seems to be out on multiple grounds now… I’ll have to see what I can come up with for 13 specifically

Usually, I write the entire synopsis before I write any prose at all, or I’ll write the synopsis and at the same time jot down bits of prose I don’t want to forget. I rarely go the other way round

So, this is the first Paul Spragg Opportunity that I’m going to enter, and I am very excited.
I have an idea I’m extremely happy with and, whilst I am most definitely still able to write it, I am now stuck with the Doctor I am probably least equipped to write.
Guess I’ll see how this goes.

I’m putting some more ideas down, and actually… The idea I had the other week was rather dark and didn’t have a Who edge, whereas the idea I had the other night was a tad too silly… Combining them however…

I’ll add more ideas later on but I’ve basically already written one entry. It was the fic I mentioned in the fanfic thread where my dad was like “pls change the Doctor” and now I CANT lol.
But I’ve found my ideas come to fruition as I write and I wouldn’t be able to just write a synopsis for something I haven’t written… Idk, that’s not how my brain works but I wish it did work like that.

As soon as I saw the announcement my first thought was that whoever said that it would be about 13 was correct.
I’ve only written two stories that had 13 but that was before I knew she was casted. It’s fun writing her after going back and revising one of them. Don’t know if I’ll enter though
