I’m still thinking about what to do here.
If I make it so you only review changes to stories you’ve completed, there will be absolutely loads of books and comics that we just won’t moderate.
Maybe I do it based on how new it is too?
I don’t know.

Maybe spoiler the suggestion box for the individual suggestion so you only see what story it’s for if the story was, say, released in the last six months. And naturally, you could click to unspoil if you didn’t care.
Yep - me too. If I hadn’t already seen all the Midnight rumours (despite my best efforts) I would have been mightily ■■■■■■ off. But then it was my own fault for clicking as I knew it would be a possibility. I could have been remembering to set up this Audio Club Extra topic instead!
Yes, definitely my fault for clicking on it, too. Though setting things up so half the people that approve submissions don’t go there at the point when a bunch of submissions are going to flood in might not be the best of things…
I’ve updated the form to add some new fields - all the external links for “Available for free” stories!
You need to tick “available for free” for these options to appear (which helps us keep that filter in sync with these links).
The fields available depend on the media type - Spotify etc only appear for Audio stories.
Thanks!
Lovely!
What if the story is available for free on the BF website (like some older mini stories, or the recent Postcards from Mr Colchester)? Does the BF link suffice?
I’d say they count!
Yes, still counts, we do have a Big Finish Link but that’s not currently editable. I’ll add that!
Edit: done!
Noticed something on a suggestion form just now! The Time Lords have a character page; but so do Time Lords. (The latter only has three stories, so I imagine it’s just a copying error.)
Thanks, will fix!
There’re two entry for Silurians as a race. I thought since other races such as The Ood use singular, we would default to Silurian but it only has four stories. Rather, Silurians have 40 stories and a picture.
Which should we use?
Given the serial is named “Doctor Who and the Silurians”, I’m preferring Silurians…
Well “The Ood” is actually plural (you don’t say Oods), and all the other races are plural like Cybermen, Daleks, Sontaran.
I’ve seen and removed a few other singular ones recently, they are from people entering it wrong in the spreadsheet imports.
Thanks!
The Ood are a hivemind, so singular and plural for them is basically the same thing…
So on the page of Lux we have the character name as Mr Ring-a-Ding, but one quote has him as that while another as The Lux. Should we unify them?
Which do we prefer?
Personally I like Señor Ding Dong.
The transcript gives mixed messages, admittedly.
MR RING-A-DING: And I am Lux. Lux Imperator, the god of light! I am the dazzle at the heart of the pantheon and the glint in the eyes of the mad. I am the last thing you see before you fall into the abyss.
I’m going for “Lux Imperator”. He was saying he was Mr. Ring-a-Ding because that was the clip he was animating. If they’d been screening Betty Boop, Lux would have been claiming to be her…
But this also doesn’t make sense…
Lux Imperator: I’m Mr Ring-a-Ding! I make your heart bells sing! Please don’t make me laugh! Just take my autograph!
Maybe like this?
Lux Imperator (as Mr. Ring-a-Ding): I’m Mr Ring-a-Ding! I make your heart bells sing! Please don’t make me laugh! Just take my autograph!
I’m pretty sure that’s the entire quote he has to repeat because it was on the original film.
Also there’s this official page…
