New Page: Future Releases

I’ve created a new page on the site for Future Releases!

The main Stories page shows stories coming up in the next 30 days, but no further than that - this is a conscious decision to prevent the page getting cluttered and to provide easy access to the latest releases. But it meant there was no way to see the future content we have been queuing up.

So here is a brand new page for that!

You’ll also notice that I’ve added all the books in the “Upcoming Novels” section of our spreadsheet :tada:

Why does 73 Yards have the cover of Rogue?

And I assume that all the announced future Big Finish releases will make on there at some point as well?

That happened when it imported, and I thought I corrected it. Fixed now!

Everything with a release date is on there.

BF releases don’t get dates until a few weeks out. Before that, it’s just the month, hence this page.

And @shauny great work. Some cool new features today.

I wonder what other new releases on the site will come along with the other sheets :joy:

Could ws possibly have a seperate page for all future releases regardless of the release date being known? It would be nice to have a big section in which all future releases are present!

Cause with most Big Finish we have a month and a year even without an exact day.

Yes I suppose I could add those in with a caveat that the date is unknown. I could place them all at the end of the month we know.

And if I allow our moderators to edit dates then as soon as we know the proper date, that could be added in.

I’ll work on it

Experimenting with this. I’ve added in the new Torchwood: Soho release (I have yet to add the Collectable, as I need to work on that).

Does this look OK? It’s been put in a certain slot at the end of July which may be inaccurate, that’s the only thing that bugs me lol.

I think that it looks good. I think that by the end of the month feels perfectly natural.

Oh, I love that the upcoming stuff shows at My next Story!

Oh… that’s actually not supposed to happen

It was actually an unintentional side effect.

Do we like it? Or not?

Ok, now that the next story is 6 months away, should I hide this until it’s a bit closer?

Otherwise it’s just kind of in the way isn’t it? Or are we fine that it’s there, it will be bumped down the list and it’s a constant reminder there is more Who on the way?

Yes, that was my thought two. I would say two weeks to a month should be perfect.

And with the option to disable tracking on future releases.

OK, future releases won’t show on the homepage until they are less than a month from release, and you can also easily disable them like any other
