Oh absolutely - but a good teacher should be able to help bring them to life!
Original Pronunciation apparently helps, too, because you catch the rhymes and puns and such that you’d no longer catch otherwise…
I’m the same way. I had an English teacher who was a huge fan of Shakespeare, but her enthusiasm did not rub off on me in the slightest. It wasn’t until I saw how many references Six used (coupled with Colin’s love of his stories), that actually made me seek out watching a few plays.
My GCSE English teacher was lucky she got out of the school alive each day. Just having us leave the class in one piece was a victory, so I think waxing lyrical about Shakespeare was low on the list.
Not got it yet, but made an impluse purchase when I saw 4 torchwood books for £4 on vinted earlier today, will send when I have them
I really need to stop buying stuff, I’m pretty sure I am starting to run out of room again…
Pretty excited about being able to finally watch this though.
That’s been on my “if I ever see it for the right price…” list for some time now. Enjoy!
What on earth did the AI flag on this image?!?!
I just put it down to the AI being bad, and the CDs are stacked like a dong.
Umm that bottom right one?
Did they just open the door to Sophie Aldred’s changing room and snap a picture or what is going on there?
Ha. It’s a BBV release. There are a couple that use a ‘risky’ photoshoot she did. It’s just to try and sell CDs.
Was going to say as well, yeah
what is going on there?
BBV existing
Okay, not just me then. I don’t remember ever seeing that cover, nor the similar The Left Hand of Darkness.
BBV always was a bit of an odd duck.
