I really like Noonan’s Doctor too. And Michael as his dad’s Doctor keeps getting better and better
Doctor Who and the Rehab of Doom
Once I found Genesis of the Daleks at CEX I was going to buy it but I took it to the counter and turns out someone had swiped the disks
Luckily I got my copy of Genesis in a charity shop for £1.
I’ve never had any problems at CeX, but at the one I go to, they don’t put the discs in the cases until yoi buy them.
Wow. That’s expensive.
Luckily I got this, and The Sleep of Reason 50p each a few wees ago, in a towm hall of all places!
These are my first EDAs (I’ve only read NSAs so far), so I was wondering, is there anything I have to read first before I start these?
EDIT: WHATTTTT!!!
I actually thought that was standard practice at all CEX - certainly is in all the ones around where I live.
Photos that make me despair
I’ve been collecting the EDAs for many a year and The Sleep of Reason is the very last one I have to find before my collection is complete! Very jealous of your 50p copy
I hadn’t been to my CEX for ages until recently. They used to have all the discs behind the counter but they’ve now changed to just the more expensive ones. Sounds like this is a national change.
I had listened to every Torchwood monthly release but paused a while back.
So I bought these as a bundle, whilst I know they’ll still have a good stock.
Got SO many others to listen to, though, so don’t know when these will get unwrapped.
Oh really. I’ll have to see. Certainly the last time I went in which wasn’t that long ago, they were still behind the counter.
Ooooo nice, there’s some really solid stories in there, Missing Molly and Disco were standouts for me
That’s fantastic news!
Now I’m torn between what to listen to first.
To be fair there’s no actual recommended listening order or anything, but I think at least the two trilogies there (Satan-Pit-Team and the Ianthology) are both great listened to in release order (plus imo both they get better with each installment)
I think I’ll stick with A Death in the Family before restarting Torchwood.
Thanks @JayPea
Two Ebay items came today.
I’m banning myself from buying any more for a while because:
- They are arriving faster than I listen to them
- It’s getting harder and harder to decide what to listen to first
- I’ve got too many others on the shelf I haven’t listened to yet.
It does mean I now have the complete Eleventh Doctor range to listen to.
I also have pre-bought quite a few new releases (and others bought for me as gifts), so I won’t be without ‘new toys’!
Was the seller by any chance World of Books?
It wasn’t, no.
Forgot to post this yesterday but The One Doctor, Bloodtide and Eye of the Scorpion had arrived yesterday!
Got paid today so I picked up these:
