Ah it’s the steelbook. I can see why that would become rare and expensive. I’m old- I still only get the DVDs.
I still have my two piles of CD deliveries sat next to a bookshelf. The urge to sort is overridden by not being at home much, and when I am, being too tired.
Some good ones there - particularly Verdigris which is huge fun.
While randomly looking up info about Faction Paradox, I somehow found someone in the Netherlands selling the comics for less than €2, and now they’ve arrived!
All the talk in issue two of what’s coming up in issue three, unknowing that it would be cancelled… Kind of fits the Faction, that there are stories of them that aren’t actually there.
Less than 2 euros is insane
The best I’ve seen on ebay is £2 each and then like £20 shipping from america
The shipping for me was actually €4 so in total it still cost me about €6 but don’t tell anyone
Second batch of the month is here!
I’ve got more coming soon. The last couple months have been fructuous to say the least - I just keep stumbling upon interesting deals.
Got this book, second hand of course, and it had this inside?
I guess whoever sold it didn’t know that was in there either.
Ooh, I like the Target cover. Much better than the original.
It’s still funny they novelised it a second time (and since it’s branded as Target now, I guess are pretending the first didn’t exist?) so they could have yet another book supposedly written by an actor.
I’ve watched the time meddler a lot recently, so for a change of pace I’ve decided to read the time meddler
What I got on my holidays (1/?)
If anyone’s wondering where I’ve been, I have been on holiday in England, where I stumbled across many a Who-related bargain.
So, let’s kick things off with this, the second volume of DWM backup tales, Black Sun Rising.
Got this one brand new from HMV.
At church this morning I was given this. A member of our congregation works at a Crematorium and this has been left there for a year and never claimed (by the mourner not a deceased). It’s one of the remote control ones made by The Wand Company. Sadly it doesn’t seem to hold its charge but does work when plugged in.
I did ask if it was supposed to have gone in someone’s coffin!
OMG…I’ve just checked how much it cost - 70 quid on release but now discontinued and on ebay for between £200 and £800!
So what should @deltaandthebannermen do with the screwdriver?
- Bury it
- Keep it
- Sell it and donate all proceeds to TARDIS Guide
I mean, there’s only one right answer here, isn’t there? He is a staff member, after all, he has to contribute to a good cause!
