New app doesnā€™t properly support iCloud Passwords, and I cant ā€œpasteā€ into the password field.

I have a very long complex password so it looks like Iā€™m going to have to manually type it in.

Not a good start!

Verrryyyy interestingā€¦ Iā€™m not sure if I like it yet, it looks a little too sleek, but Iā€™m sure Iā€™ll get used to it. I wonder if weā€™ll get any sort of increased clarity about what order to listen to stuff in or prerequisites and whatnot

From Big Finishā€™s Twitter theyā€™re answering some questions:

Will old bundles be removed? Some will stay, but all old CD bundles will be removed along with some download bundles.

They also clarify multibuy discounts will be more expensive then existing bundles in some circumstances using the War Master 9-11 bundle as an example.

Pre-orders will no longer be exempt from postage.

I cant lie, im not happy with how this sounds. Whilst more flexibility in discounted purchases is great, Iā€™m not a fan of everything.

Just to be sure, if youā€™ve already pre-ordered something, will the postage not count until you buy something under the new system? I assume so but paranoia.

Sigh, Iā€™d be excited by this new website announcement if it came with an announcement that theyā€™re reprinting the Bernice Summerfield books that I never got hold of, but otherwiseā€¦

Under UK law they couldnā€™t charge you for postage on older orders. Also from a PR pov they wouldnā€™t want too.

Imo if you want to make any preorders do them before Tuesday. If under the new Multi-buy feature its cheaper with the new site, cancel the original order and make it again.

It seems that the Big Finish website is down today. Probably preparing for the relaunch tomorrow.

Itā€™s definitely not on purpose. Been down all day, and they posted an apology on their Twitter.

Not a good start to the new site. I feel sorry for them, I imagine their web team are struggling with this.

I kinda wish that digital versions came in the CD casings as codes.

Then have people redeem them. And if you have proof of purchase, have BF issue another code so you can get another if the site goes down or something.

I personally do not yet have a hard drive I can store everything on :disappointed:

There are a couple of problems with that.

  • People will sell the codes.
  • People will have to wait for the CDs to arrive before getting their digital versions.

I see your reasoning, but donā€™t think it will work.
