As I just came home from seeing it, here is my favorite song from A Chorus Line.
I didn’t expect to like this musical as much as I did. It definitely catapulted itself into my favorites instantly.

I’ve only seen the Michael Douglas film. My favourites would be Dance 10 Looks 3, At the Ballet and I Can Do That. Special mention for the iconic finale.
I honestly didn’t know there was one until my mother mentioned it when we were on my way home. And my only reaction when she said Michael Douglas was “Who?” and she was so confused, why I didn’t know who he is. After looking it up: a) I am too young, and b) most of the movies he was in aren’t really my cup of tea.
Those are also very good. Sing! just has a special place in my heart because I’ve known it for so long (even if I didn’t know that it was from A Chorus Line until two or so years ago).
I actually did see EFX, but not this version; the David Cassidy version. I’ve heard the album for the Michael Crawford version a number of times, though…
Fichtenkartell - Woid Oida
One of the bands in my corner of the world combining traditional ways of making music with other influences. In case you are able to understand the text, the song captures brilliantly the essence of life in the Bavarian forest with humor and insight.
(And sadly, most people not from Bavaria will not understand the text
but maybe its fun to listen to anyways.
)
and an edition with much better quality sound (just noticing, maybe good to clarify: the picture shows a pine cone).
A concept album based on The Caves of Androzani!
Oh! How did I forget about this album!
It is really great ![]()
I forgot this existed. I borrowed the cassette - yes the cassette - from the library back in the day.
Yeah, don’t actually have the cd of this myself, but I lived for a while with someone that played it fairly often, and saw it live once. Michael Crawford was the original star, then it went through David Cassidy, Tommy Tune, and then Rick Springfield, before eventually closing.
Good show, but given it closed in 2002, it’s obviously been a while since I’ve seen it. ![]()
Warning: music video may contain disturbing imagery (as it’s an accurate reflection of the song (and it’s by Devo)).
I adore Public Service Broadcasting. Managed to see them years ago. It was a great gig.
Also been lucky to see them a few years back.
