Let's make our own Main Range!

New Main Range 25 - Cyberman on Board
Doctor: 4th
Companion: Monstap
Description: Arriving at a trade spaceship, the Doctor and Monstap step out to find a “citizen’s arrest” being carried out on a hysterical worker who claims to have seen a robot moving in the hall. The other employees dismiss him as insane. While the Doctor attempts to calm the situation, Monstap ventures off to investigate the vast storage bays—only to encounter a Cyberman and end up in a physical fight.

After the skirmish, the Cybermen prepare to execute him. But the Doctor arrives just in time, rescuing him with a cargo vehicle and bringing him to safety. Soon, a Cyberman begins opening other crates, revealing more dormant Cybermen hidden inside, with the intention of seizing control of the ships for their own purposes. The Doctor rushes to the main office and convinces the commander of the gravity of the threat, prompting an evacuation as the Cybermen gradually tighten their grip. By the end of the day, the crew escapes in a lifeboat capsule, while the Doctor and Monstap remain behind to redirect the ship toward a sun. Pursued by Cybermen bent on killing them, they narrowly make their escape in the TARDIS.

The fun part is when we get to a point where we start having to do collaborative trilogies like the main range does later in life that will be fun

#027. Forever Sets the Sun

Doctor: 8

Companions: Kirsty Buchanan

Set Between: ‘The Girl Who Never Was’ and ‘Blood of the Daleks’, and after ‘No Match for the Guardian’.

Synopsis:

“Wars are not won on the battlefield alone, my son, but in the hearts and souls of our adversaries.”

Cpt Buchanan wanted to see just how far the human race could go, so the Doctor knew exactly where to go for their first adventure together. The colony world of Blossom resembles fuedal Japan - with Emperor Tenzai and his son ruiling from their grand palace, and Samurai keeping barbarians at bay… but they have combined this culture with some of the most advanced technology in the universe.

Tenzai believes in honour, in their divine destiny as a civilisation. Crown Prince Kenji thinks the future is made of steel and plastic… and that being emotional will result in the collapse of their empire.

The Doctor has seen all this before: a rebellion against the flesh leading to something cold and unfeeling. But now more than ever, this is a battle of head versus heart.

Kirsty wanted to see how far humanity would go.

But she might live to regret it…

New Main Range 28:

The Land Of The Lawless

Doctor: 10th

Companion: Harper (New Companion)

Description: Set inbetween Voyage Of The Damned and Partners In Crime, The Doctor finds himself ensnared in a conspiracy where a sleepy town in the Wild West is not what it seems, it’s a bit Knives Out, a bit No Country For Old Men. I hesitate to give too many details because I am writing a script for this and would like to make it a real audio drama lol.

On that note, if anyone is interested, I’d love to help develop some of these ideas into real scripts and real fanaudios.

#030. Unthinkable

Doctor: 8

Companions: Kirsty Buchanan

Set Between: ‘The Girl Who Never Was’ and ‘Blood of the Daleks’, and after ‘Forever Sets the Sun’.

Synopsis:

Alcatraz Island, 1972.

The TARDIS has been dragged out of the vortex following an eruption of telepathic signals on the island… and all of them are screaming. Kirsty vaguely recalls reading a UNIT report on alien activity within the former prison, in a file that even the higher ups wanted kept buried.

There’s a room within the prison sealed for years that opened when the Doctor and Kirsty arrived: the Mastermind has been set free, and nobody is safe from its judgement.

The mind is quicker than the eye.

His command is your wish.

A new comrade joins his ranks.

Free will died today…

It was replaced by his will…

New Main Range 31:
A break from the intense stories that the others are going through with a 3rd Doctor and Liz Shaw story mimicking a Scooby Doo: Where Are You episode in a four part adventure, where all of the alien murders were caused by a problem with a landlord.

The Doctor and Liz go to her uncle’s holiday home as aliens have been spotted patrolling at beach houses. Partway through the holiday, when they’re at the beach, Mike Yates shows up, claiming to want a holiday. Then the murders start.
The Brigadier calls to check in twice throughout the serial, one time as a phone call between episodes 2 and 3 and the second in Episode 4 as he obliviously asks how the holiday’s going, right as the faux-aliens are in the room ready to attack Liz.

Mike Yates is also a key character in this mission and the perceived bloodshed is integral in his choice to join Think Tank at the end.

The death count is 13 people and it’s revealed that it was all a plot by Liz’s uncle to take back control of the family holiday house, which was taken by UNIT once they discovered the alien presence two weeks earlier, voiding a verbal contract with the owner of the grounds that he had kept since Liz was a child.

This is set after Diary of River Song Volume 9: New Recruit and before whichever story you decide Liz leaves in.

Minor references include a comedy bit where the Third Doctor is afraid of nearby scarecrows and a reference to the Inferno Project as an exciting example of new science.

Major ones include Liz doubting whether she should have joined River after all and also lesbian text instead of just subtext. The episode also communicates with UNIT as seen in Doctor Who and The Silurians, unlike certain televised episodes that are getting an upcoming spinoff soon.

New Main Range 33 - The Spy In The Past
Doctor: 4th
Companion: Monstap
Description: The TARDIS lands in a concentration camp during World War II. Monstap is kidnapped and taken away for experimentation by Doctor Mengele, while the Doctor is mistaken for an Allied spy and forced to give testimony. The rumor of a man called “the Doctor” quickly spreads by word of mouth and reaches a prisoner with a long beard and a personal vendetta against him.

Monstap endures attempted experiments, but his immense strength allows him to overpower anyone who comes near. Mengele engages him in conversation, seeking answers about his enormous size and skin color. Monstap replies that he will give him the truth if he is reunited with his colorful companion—an offer Mengele accepts. Meanwhile, the Doctor remains under interrogation until his guards are slain by the long-bearded prisoner, who reveals himself as the Master (Sacha Dhawan / the Spy Master), though not one the Doctor has met before. The Master intends to torture the Doctor, drive him to absolute agony, and force a regeneration. At that moment, Monstap and Mengele arrive; at Mengele’s command, Monstap beats the Master into unconsciousness. The Doctor claims to be a time traveler who, at the request of the Thousand-Year Reich, has journeyed back to ensure the timeline remains intact and that the Master does not escape as he did in the original line. Though skeptical, Mengele begins to believe after the Doctor demonstrates his sonic screwdriver and some of its functions, further asserting that Monstap is in fact one of Mengele’s own future experiments designed to create an enhanced human. Convinced, Mengele allows Monstap and the Doctor to leave.
