I am also a huge ‘Star Wars’ fan and I recently started going through that from the very beginning. There is a nice feature on the wiki that lists all the media that was ever released and, because I might be a bit too nerdy I like to (try) to know everything about my favourite things.
My other favourite being ‘Doctor Who’.
I tried the wiki for that, but there is no “all media” option there. So I looked around and found an older Reddit posts where someone asked something similar and this site was linked.
This is such a great tool to play around with and see stories I have never known about. And the fact that I can just say ‘Every Story in release order’ is the best.

The best way I know of for that is just going to the “1963 (releases)” page and scrolling through that. It’s probably not as streamlined as the Star Wars one, but it’s definitely a starting point.

What motivated me to start was I love tracking things, and was using both Letterboxd and trakt.tv to track my progress while I was watching every Classic Doctor Who episode in order. Well, that was very frustrating because Letterboxd had lots missing (to be fair, that’s really just a site for movies), and trakt.tv would put all the “specials” out of order, so was difficult to use (especially for NewWho) and I thought I know, I can do better!
I’m a web developer so I had all the skills already to create the site. It started small, just the TV show, but has grown tremendously when I decided to add audio dramas, then books, and most recently comics!

The forum was mostly because of @deltaandthebannermen - he loves an ‘old school’ forum, and the only ones that exist can be a bit toxic, so we decided to create one just for us! It was a very good idea, I was a little worried at first because starting from zero is difficult, but now we have lots of very dedicated members! It’s a lot of fun!
I can’t take much credit for the forum software though, as it’s just Discourse, but I did choose it and think it’s the best

Well, I think you really did.
I can work through ‘Doctor Who’ a lot more efficiently now. And I also like the idea of sharing thoughts in a community, don’t have much experience with that for ‘Who’ though, because even though it’s actually quite big it feels niche in my surroundings.
I have a new fear of kidney theft though
