My name is Bastian and I’m from Germany (from Thuringia, to be precise - thats basically in the heart of Germany). I’m a gigantic Doctor Who Fan since 5 years by now (does not feel that long it xD) and watched all of the televised Stories. Currently catching up on a few Big Finish Audios. My favorite Doctors are the second, fourth, fifth, eleventh and twelth Doctor (although they are all amazing). In terms of favorite Tardis team I’d say: the twelth Doctor, Bill and Nardole or the eleventh Doctor alongside the Ponds.
And I’m quite excited for the upcoming Spin-Off, but by living outside of the UK, I’ll sadly have to wait till 2026 :’)
I’ve been told about this forum by a friend, who I’ve met at the “Timelash” (a german Doctor Who convention) and I’m really looking forward to having great conversations and learning new stuff here (still quite overwhelmed to be honest xD)
Yes! I’ve been the last two years and had a blast both times, but this year was extra special because I love Louise Jameson and also I got to meet some friends face to face for the first time! I’m planning to go every year from now on
Capaldi is my second most favorite Doctor - only beaten by Matt Smith (that’s probably because I’ve started with his Doctor)
In terms of twelth Doctor Episodes, I love: Deep breath, Mummy on the Orient Express, Flatline, Dark Water and Death in Heaven, the Zygon two parter (that speech gives me chills ever time), Face the Raven, Heaven sent, Hell bent, the husbands of River Song, the Return of Doctor Mysterio, the pilot, Oxygen, Extremis, World enough and time and the Doctor falls (actually my favorite Doctor Who story ever :>) and twice upon a time (dispite the characterization of the first Doctor)
Same for me - I somehow didn’t notice that we had a german Doctor Who convention before xD
I love this event. It’s so amazing to speak to the actors and meeting other fans, cause to be honest, I don’t come across them often. For example, I had to teach my friends about this show, by showing them a few episodes. I think I’ve changed a life or two by doing so xD
I’m also going to the Timelash again next year, so maybe we are going to see each other ^^
