Leela truly is fantastic. Yes, she’s great in this story, but even in stories where she’s written more generically Louise Jameson acts with intelligence, curiosity and alertness. Genuinely a performer capable of elevating a dull script. Fantastic, as the Ninth Doctor would say (I have a feeling that Leela and Nine would get on really well).

Louise Jameson is always stunning even when she’s given dire material - it’s one of the reasons I love Gallifrey so much because Leela is just superb. And Leela and Nine?? Yes please!!! They would be fantastic
