I’m Sophie, and I’ve been watching Doctor Who since the 50th anniversary. I was recommended the show by a classmate and unfortunately saw Day of the Doctor on the library’s shelf first. I was very confused but still entertained, and since then I’ve watched all of modern Doctor Who, Seasons 1-24 of Classic Who, listened to a few dozen Big Finish audio dramas, and recently read a handful of New Series Adventures.
I am currently
Watching: Season 25 and Sarah Jane Adventures Season 1
Listening: Monthly Adventures 10
Reading: Winner Takes All - NSA 3
With the combination of the recent news about the show’s uncertain future, and my own Classic Who journey drawing to a close soon, I was motivated to further explore the wealth of content that exists outside the tv show. As a result, I began looking into ways that I could better keep track of what I have and haven’t seen/read/listened to, which eventually led me here! (I wish I had found this site sooner, but better late than never!)
My favorite doctors are 2, 3 and 12 (in no particular order), but I love all of them and am especially excited to delve into the audio drama content for 6 and 8 to get to know them better!
My favorite companions are Jamie, Romana, Peri, Donna and Rory
Other favorites are Classic Unit (Brigadier, Benton and Yates), Wilf, and River Song~
It’s lovely to see so many active Doctor Who fans here! Nice to meet you all
I found TARDIS Guide through a Reddit post about the best ways to keep track of which Big Finish audio dramas you’ve watched! Thank you for the welcome~
Hello and welcome! Two and Twelve are also some of my favourite Doctors, funnily enough (and Eight is indeed amazing, so would absolutely recommend his Big Finish run).
Hello and welcome! I hope you have a great time here. I see you’re a Rory and River fan. I’m not sure how deep you are into the audio rabbit hole, but I recommend The Lone Centurion audios if you haven’t listened to them already, they have fun Rory content. Also there’s going to be a River Song audio boxset with her and Rory next year! Super exciting!
It’s great to have you, it sounds like you really know your Who! Watching Day of the Doctor first definitely sounds like a fun entry point into the show! Also nice to meet another Twelve and Romana fan!
Have you seen any of the other shows like Class or the divisive K-9? We have threads for everything! Looking forward to chatting more on the forum. Hope you enjoy your time here!
