I dont know who he is…
He played that “cyborg” in Time Heist. Also better known for Bridgerton and more recently Fiyero in Wicked.
I rewatched Sleep No More. Don’t get why it’s in the bottom 20. There’s gotta be more deserving low scorers.
Sleep No More just put me to sleep… it commits the worst crime a DW story can commit: BORING
I don’t like it because it has a brilliant horror premise and butchers it in a boring episode
I don’t get why Kerblam is not here.
I also think that Delta and the Bannermen should be here but I don’t want to say that out load again😂
Tbf if we talking about bad Seven episodes for me Silver Nemesis is more deserving. Perhaps even Paradise Towers…
Because it’s not a bad episode.
I enjoyed it a lot! At least before the ending… The ending is jus so off
And yet Heaven Sent gets a top score!
Yeah, because Amazon is the good guys and the underpaid workers are the enemies…
Ok, I’ll admit it, the ending is an issue.
It makes the whole episode almost unwatchable. It could have been fixed by making both the terrorist and the company bad but they did not do that…
Yes… but actually yes.
All my bias aside, I genuinely think while Classic has some really awful Stories, usually there are some redeeming Qualities in even the worst of it and some sort of Charm. Maybe even if it’s just some small Moments.
On the other hand, nuwho, if we are strictly talking about televised stuff, can rank rather low. Episodes such as The Care Taker, a hard for me to get through because frankly this Episode is either annoying or fairly dull/boring to me. And I have said it before, and I will say it again, I take a bad episode over a boring one any day. But that’s just me on the Topic.
Maybe I’m stupid but the ending has never bothered me.
All Chibnall era EPs left…
Time to activate Thirteen defence mode! (And Orphan 55 hate mode)
Oh wait, both of those are already on.
It basically ruins the entire premise of the episode by saying “Hey, maybe capitalism isn’t bad”
There is absolutely no saving that episode for me. The entire thing of making someone with an anti-capitalist cause also evil or a terrorist etc is a classic move that is made so that radical or even just mildly anti-capitalist viewpoints become inseperable from bloodshed in mainstream media. The entire episode front to back could’ve been written by Jeff Bezos I hate it so much and am also dissapointed it somehow wasn’t in the list of 20
The thing is not mostly the ending it is the message. The ending with “exploding bubble wrap” is fun and Doctor Who. But the message is not good.
It would have been great if the Doctor helped the workers to unionize or in another way helped them. Now she saved the company but did nothing to help the planet that was filled with poor starving people. She just trusts the company that they will hire some more people…
