I think I agree. I was pretty pissed with it at first (gut reaction I guess), but the more I thought about it, the less bad it seemed. The way they presented it was just not good at all. As in, the story surrounding it was not the best vehicle to make the Timeless Child a cool new thing.

Depends on what exactly we are talking about when it comes to Presentation. The titular Episode? If so I’d agree, while gorgeously looking, it feels a bit too much like Retelling the Story to set grounds, that said I like what they have done with it in Flux, so I am really more whatever on that Episode.
As a Concept itself, I’d say it’s less egregious than some that came before or after cough Sutekh sitting on the Tardis for so damn long cough. I do get why it’s disliked and certainly can see the reasoning that said, really it doesn’t break the Universe and again really isn’t the worst Offender of Retcons, far from it. But that’s just me

Honestly I think the killing for killing’s sake has kinda ruined the last two games for me. I liked seeing stories go to the brink and then get saved, but now if it goes below two points there’s just no reason to even try.

If there’s a story I want out that’s available for me to kill, I will kill it.
But what annoyed me about the RTD game was the fact that good stories were just being killed for not much of a reason.
By the way, thanks for down voting Resolution. I think it’s the worst of the New Year’s specials.

I think that the fact that we have stats on kills and assists now has made this game much more competitive, with people wanting to be high on that list. It might be unconscious, but I think that is what’s happening here.

Yeah I’m inclined to agree. I still voted with my heart here and I still try to even when eliminating stuff but there’s deffo been a couple times I didn’t. I 100% see the competitive aspect cause of the stats too

Popping in to say I didn’t change the 3 to a 1 initially for Vanquishers, went back and edited but looks like the subsequent post had copied the unedited list.
Vanquishers should be on 1 now not 3…
