Was 12 long enough for Jenna Coleman photo, ran up to my room, changed into 11, and came back down to get Steven Moffat’s autograph on my Caretaker script from the script reading. He would be the only writer I’d have sign this script.

As I mentioned in the above part of the thread, you don’t have to go to a big con. If you are worried about being too overwhelmed or tired (but still want to stretch yourself and give it a try), you could go to a smaller event or con closer to home. They would probably love you being there, and you could still meet a few fellow fans.

And Gally is a much smaller con than something like a comic con (though big for a Who specific con), people are very friendly and accommodating, I’d recommend it even as a first time Who con.

Very. I love Clara Oswald as a character, and really like Jenna as an actor (though admittedly have only really seen her as Clara). It was very nice to meet her. And Steven Moffat similarly. And meeting the others like Wendy, Colin, Nicola, and Catherine was nice too. I’d already met Sylvester and Louise before.

You’re right. I should try something closer to home that’s small, but based around a hotel, so I can get back to a room for rest. I’m not that great at being outgoing. I used to be, but it’s easy to lose the skills when I don’t get to go out much, thanks to the M.E.
