Oooooo supremacy is good, can’t wait for it
I’m currently working on a new design for the Character Tracker on the new site and realised it is missing characters from spin-offs because it’s so focussed on Companions.
Basically I plan to complete everything with Gwen in at some point! Also Yvonne Hartman. Yes I’m going through a Torchwood phase!
I really like the tracker. Maybe have a section for each spin-off?
Yes maybe spin-offs. But there is so often cross-over. Maybe just list all the characters with more than a handful of stories.
It’s a difficult page to design!
It is hard to not have 200 characters on it
Maybe I’ll just keep the current list but let people add characters by finding their page and clicking a “track” button.
I want to complete Mrs. Wibbsey! We need more old lady companions!
Martha, Ryan and Jackie were on the ‘companion group’ scene at the end of The Power of the Doctor, via Zoom.
Source: x.com
Who officially said that?
Jackie!!! But wait isn’t she in another dimension?
I don’t think this can be real.
Jackie: burning up a sun so she can make a Zoom call
I think that the source is the book: The Gold Archive: Invasions of Earth: A Secret History
Another interesting thing is that Martha is in a German bunker with the Osterhagen Key.
No wounder that she turned the video off.
Yeah to save bandwidth! She only had to burn up a little sun.
With Christmas around the corner (whether you like it or not), it’s time for our annual tradition: kicking off the glögg (a sort of mulled wine that we like to drink to keep ourselves warm during the cold and dark Christmas month) season with this year’s Blossa (a Swedish glögg produced with a different recipe every year).
Here comes the Christmas spirit
Love Gløgg
Glögg looks awesome and it’s also the noise you make as you drink it! Glogg glogg!
Nice! How was this year’s flavor?
It’s sort of sweet and smokey, and I rather like it. This year’s Blossa is named “Edinburgh,” and the flavour is inspired by the Scottish Highlands. This is how their website describes the flavour, which I find pretty accurate:
Blossa 24 is a white starkvinsglögg and the classic spice blend is begilded with smoky, Scottish whisky and rounded off with the algae dulse, which adds both saltiness and umami. The taste of whisky enhances the character in the glögg’s original sweetness, and the smokiness is a particularly good match with the clove. The algae as ingredient is a nod to the legend of the sea creature hiding in the tangled depths of Loch Ness. The magical atmosphere of the Scottish Highlands is also illustrated on the design of this year’s bottle.
