Yes, it’s a good book IMO – not perfect but some fantastic worldbuilding and characterisation! And as they’re both First Doctor stories it’ll pair rather nicely with Empire of Glass (still my favourite VMA I’ve read!).

You know, some people tell you they were shipped a product for free for review from the manufacturer and that the company had no input, and you watch skeptically.
OTOH, you have Jeff Geerling, who gets shipped a mini NAS, tells you the company had no input, and then by the end of his videos, you find yourself not wanting to touch said NAS with a ten foot pole.
The company definitely had no input. Lots of respect to him.

Only before I got into BF, when I only watched TV Who since most of the year had nothing. I don’t think I’ll ever take a break

I have. During the CC era. I did not enjoy it at the time and did not watch it for a couple of years. I think the break made me fall in love with the show even more. I don’t think that I would have been here if it were not for that break.
