I don’t care. Every second someone spends thinking about me helps me inflate my already over-inflated ego!
There’s another book to add to my “to buy” list
Why you talking about Finland at school?
What next? Guest speaker @MrColdStream ?
It sounds very interesting. I’m a fan of a good crime thriller, so I might have to check this out.
Because we’re such schoolbook examples of how to do things right
And I’ll come in a jiffy if they invite me! If only to prove to Delta that I am a real person!
Because we had an assembly about happiness…I feel like I’ve already said this..
Honestly, it’s bad enough my class never listen to me…
You should be teaching British kids about British happinness not foreign happinness. Foreigners can’t be happy because they are not British!
Or at the very least mention the song Happinnes by Ken Dodd, & tell the kids that Dodd was also in Delta & the Bannermen.
Pardon? What did you say?
You haven’t bought my friends book yet?
She won the Bloody Scotland Harvill Secker Crime Writing Award in 2021. & she’s just won the Crimefest 2025 bursary.
No, but thanks for reminding me! I’ll check it out! Always happy to explore new authors!
She loves Doctor Who, craft beer, live music. So please be assured any income generated from book sales will be spent responsibly.
What a coincidence - so do I! No better way to spend your money
It was just that one story [1] because it had no writer, and my new pseudonym stuff had a bug.
But nice way to make me panic as I come back from lunch
and any other without a writer ↩︎
Do we need to start a campaign to get the book added to the site? I know that would increase sales ten-fold…
So Metroid Prime 4 looks incredible. I really hope it turns out as good as it looks. I’m pretty excited.
As far as I recall no Dr. Who references in this one. Maybe in the next book!
A lack of Doctor Who references in a book doesn’t seem to be a barrier to some of the works on the guide…
Just noticed I probably use way more comma while speaking in English than is required, and that’s 200% because it’s how it’s done in Portuguese. If my wording ever sounds stilted, that may be one of the reasons.
Another reason is difference in vocabulary, as noticed here: I am not sure ‘speaking’ would fit given it’s written (does it?), but my brain thinks about it in Portuguese first. The word “dizendo” fits just fine. And I not sure written words sound anyway either (do they?), but soam makes sense in pt-br.
That’s also why if you ever see a post of mine it has a 80% chance of being edited. Besides actual spelling mistakes. Cause I write fast
