BF just love throwing random characters together.
It’s a no from me.

Thing is, you probably wouldn’t be buying this release separate from the rest of Once and Future.
True. I just hope this isn’t an indicator of what they are going to do with Fugitive Doctor’s own range.
I really doubt that, as if everyone and their aunty has met the Fugitive Doctor it would really not make sense for her to be such a mystery to the Thirteenth Doctor.
Look at all the people she’s meeting in this one story! Mind wipes all round?
They could probably get away with River Song and the Fugitive Doctor…
Please don’t even suggest that lol
With all the talk about “Once and Future,” a quick off-topic note: There’s a really good comic with the same title out there. It’s so good that I can’t help but think of it whenever I hear “Once and Future.”
The phrase does make me think of T.H. White’s “The Once and Future King”, which, given the description of the comic, certainly seems to be what it’s referencing…
I’ve read some of this. Really enjoyed it.
I find it difficult to criticise Once and Future for it’s dartboard approach, since it’s explicitly an anniversary special. It has other problems, but “It’s got a bunch of returning characters in it” isn’t one of them. There is a case to be made that it might feel more special if the dartboard thing didn’t happen nearly as often already, but that’s another conversation
I like that we have some different Benny pictures used on the covers, although this feels like a Photoshop not-what-to-do tutorial.
It’s definitely not the worst photoshopping we’ve had recently…
I haven’t heard much of it but isn’t that sort of the case with River Song when she meets pre-library Doctors? They could probably make it work for Jo Martin’s Doctor as well
Yep. & it quickly became boring for me.
There’s a chance for something new for this pre-hartnell doctor. I don’t have faith in BF.
Danny Dyer wants to be in Doctor Who. He’d make a great live-action Abslom Daak Dalek Killer.
I’d choose Richard Armitage.
He’s a solid pick too. Needs to be someone who can play a tortured soul driven by a desire to avenge his loved ones. Keanu Reeves would be perfect, but would be far too expensive for the BBC and Bad Wolf, even with Disney Plus money.
