Damn! I was trying to convince myself otherwise, but you are of course right!
My likes are back!
And they’re… Gone again???
Oh, I’m utterly rubbish at anagrams!
Seeing as you got to the top of the leaderboard a couple of days ago, you know this isn’t true.
I wish it was true.
But it isn’t…
Then they came back and now they’re gone again!
You need to have a longer break before liking again, otherwise they’ll just disappear immediately again.
I think I’ve got them back for good now!
Here’s a tip
The leaderboard doesn’t care how many posts you “like”.
That was how it worked once but I changed it because it seemed like a way to game the system. And it also meant there were wayyyy fewer likes each.
I made it so they don’t count to the leaderboard (only receiving likes count) so I could boost the number of likes everyone had by a huge amount.
This whole time I’ve been thinking it did!
That reminds me - I must stop liking @MrColdStream’s posts…
Look, this is the downside of the change! Not liking someone just because they want to be on top
Meanwhile, I’m the nice guy who actually likes other people’s posts to help them, when the smart thing would be not to like anything at all
I’d suggest that people that became moderators were people who were fairly active on the forums, thus higher up on the leaderboard…
But he makes funny jokes you just have to react with ‘’! I can’t help it
They say we should brush our teeth for 2 minutes, seems about right for how long it must have taken to write the episodes of New New Who.
Ooh sick burn
To be fair it’s not just liking that gets you points
Comments, posts, getting likes all contribute too
Ah, and Shauny’s not only already said that, but also pointed out that liking doesn’t get you any points anymore
It’s not just commenting and liking.
You get score for actually reading posts, and for every hour you spend on the site.
So all you have to do to keep on top is spend all your time on the forum, what’s the problem?
