I have a guide for the first half of the EDAs here:
Just passing on a musical interlude…
Carry on…
Translated episode title in Danish on Prime:
“Store Vanskeligheder”
Translated back = Big Difficulties
Most generic Doctor Who title of all time.
Any guesses which episode?
At least you have it on Prime…
My guess is: Bad Wolf
I’d say The Big Bang, because of … reasons

Rock Lobster
The one for Doomsday really cracked me up
Wait! Is Paul about to kick his best friend? That’s animal (robot? robot animal?) abuse!
Random thought after the finality. Would Doctor Who be better if we skipped bombastic finales and kept focusing on smaller and more intimate episodes? Are there any finales (of New Who) that are even close to the best episode of the season?
I think The Pandorica Opens/The Big Bang is the closest we get to that
As much as I love the Eleventh Doctor, this finale has a ‘magic’ ending with Amy remembering the Doctor back into existence. This is my least favourite trope in DW.
World enough and Time/Doctor Falls is close to best of the season but extemis exists,
It’s also a big bombastic one, but comparatively much lower stakes
I tend to find non-present day finales better because the stakes can be big and believable, bad wolf/parting of the ways, hell bent/heaven sent, world enough and time/the doctor falls
I spoke a bit about my finale idea in the pitch your era thread, but also want to do a historical finale with the weeping angles in a sort of similar vein to The Weeping Angels of Mons with the angels offering people a way out of a horrific situation, doing a more character drama focused thing
Either that or it was for an unmade sequel to Doctor Who and the Pirates.
Haven’t listened to that one yet
I have and still don’t get it.
Paul McGann is standing on one leg - you know, like a peg leg pirate…
Honestly, I’m wasted round here.
