Everyone loves TARDIS Wiki. It’s useful! It’s fun! It has an awful lot of very silly pages with the absolutely most ludicrous sentences ever invented on it. Here is a recent favourite:
The Abduction from the Seraglio: A Mozart opera, and the reason I think this is hilarious is because the overture is playing in the vault in Time Heist, and last time we listened I said ‘huh, this is really familair’ so naturally turned to TW and it says this:
‘completely obvious’, the disdain in those words made me laugh.
And my other favourite used to be the alphabet because for a long while V and U were swapped because Lis Sladen accidentally said them in the wrong order in Masque of Mandragora, and because TW is strict on only stuff mentioned in the Whoniverse makes it onto the wiki, it was backwards on there. But I guess they found a source to put it in correctly
I’d love to know what some other good entries are, for any reason!
I love everything about this opening line, the fact the wiki is all written in past tense for consistency at first glace seemingly implying that they no longer exist, the fact there’s no wiki page for ‘reproductive organ’ but, and the ‘source needed’ just make it for me
I find it quite bizarre how they have an article for everything.
It’s like they expect someone to visit who has never heard of novelty reindeer antlers, and has no other source to find out this information, so they need to add it there.
iirc they decided to just let there be wiki pages for everything so they don’t have to police what should and shouldn’t get an entry (provided it appears in Doctor Who media ofc)
