So in 2018 Detroit: Become Human came out. I adored Connor’s story and it’s 100% the reason I also adore and overhype TW1. It’s literally the same dynamic, I’d be surprised if no TW1 writer has ever played the game before.
All about a suicidal alcoholic who lost his son and vents that onto a socially awkward brunette in a suit who is loyal to a morally black institution via indoctrination. Said alcoholic also has a dog. And the name of their son is metaphorically significant.
It’s also interesting if it is inspired because it’s a choice-based game. There’s a fair few unique endings. Some are wholesome others are dark or depressing.
But this is only 1 story of 3. Though imo the others aren’t as good. Still fun though.

Yeah they’re doing a crossover event in the two idle games too next week apparently

Well I thought I’d give it another chance so I just opened the app again and I’ve completely lost all my progress? Really makes me not want to play it at all now.

Ugh that sucks. Yeah, I’m just gonna wait for someone to upload the entire thing on YouTube or reddit bc even tho I play the lower decks game I pretty much never get through the entire event bc I refuse to spend money or ridiculous amount of time on it

My partner has come to the decision that they don’t like DW, so last night we started Star Trek. Its been years for me, and they have watched some TOS and TNG. We are 3 episodes into TOS.

Mine is the same, to be honest

We should start a support club for people whose partners don’t like Who.

I think you all need to choose your partners better! Honestly, didn’t you have a vetting process?

Right, I literally cannot go out with someone if they’re not going to at least slightly like DW and tolerate it being all I talk about

Speaking of Star Trek…

very jarred by the complete lack of classic who and the miniscule amount of 90s Trek used, that saying tho, wild to see the BBC acknowledge Star Trek: Prodigy more than Paramount “Home of Star Trek” Plus, who have basically tried to erase it from existence

I love Harry Potter. It was the first big series I started getting into. I’m not as into it as I used to be. I don’t like what JKR has said but I still like the books/audios. I also like Marvel and Disney but I only delve into the expanded media of Doctor Who
