#oldmanissues - I can’t work out how to make the images big enough so I know which season it is supposed to be!

I personally just used command and plus to zoom toward the picture until I can read the text on it.
And for the pictures of the others I just went by memory of which seasons were which while making my tier list.

I did that too. It was some problem that the pictures where pretty low quality.

I’m pretty happy with this ranking, although I now realise I’ve only watched a few of these series once. Should probably get around to rewatching a few of them.

Bit late to the party, but here’s my tier list

You know, I’m really pleased to see the love for Flux on here. I’m hugely fond of its ambition and, given the circumstances it was produced under, I think it’s a surprising and extremely enjoyable series. I dislike how throwaway the cybermen feel but love other elements so much (with highlights being “War of the Sontarans” and “Village of Angels”). I applaud Chibnall getting experimental with “Once, Upon Time” and love the UNIT stuff in “Survivors of the Flux”.

War of the Sontarans, The Halloween Apocalypse and Village of the Angels are all amazing episodes.
Once, Upon Time and Survivors of the Flux are really good as is The Vanquishers, only it kind of fizzles out in the end.

And then it is followed up by Eve of the Daleks and The Power of the Doctor which are two stories I love. And then there is Legend of the Sea Devils, which oozes potential but apart from the visuals severely fails to deliver. Except the phone call between Dan and Diane, that is one of the best moments of romance in all of Who history

Ohh you are so wrong here my friend. Village is the only great episode of s13 and The Flux is just a poor attempt to get Doctor Who to feel like an MCU event. Dan and Diane are good though.

What? You did see Dan infiltrate a Sontaran warship armed only with a wok and a Sontaran on a horse in a single episode right???

Do you hate fun?

A great scene does not make an episode great.

Do you hate good storytelling?

Yes, absolutely! I happen to think “The Halloween Apocaplyse” is underrated genius. It’s so full on, rich in ideas, witty, lovely scenes and utterly bonkers, with a truly apocalyptic seeming cliffhanger!

Fizzle happens to many Who stories, but WOW this was a fun ride. For me, whilst I wouldn’t argue they are all time greats, I definitely feel that the things they do well significantly outweigh the things that don’t quite work.

Yes, and YES!

I cannot express sufficiently how disappointed I was with this story. My heart sank. I felt crushed.

And then, this. A truly beautiful moment. Loved it so very much!

Oh like the End of Time you mean? Where the Master for reasons gets jumpy/lightning powers and eats a whole chicken because he wasn’t offered cutlery? That kind of storytelling?

There is more heart and story in this scene than in the whole Flux

Yeah because who doesn’t love the Doctor whining about having to save an “unimportant life”, that’s really the embodiment of the Doctor as a character

Bernard Cribbins is the one brilliant thing about that story though
