Realised that despite making a Soho and TW1 thread, I didn’t make one for The Story Continues, so I’ve done that now!
May also make ones for Torchwood: Victoria, and Torchwood: 4000 (there’s enough monthlies on each to warrant discussion)

In the story it’s mostly just a nod to the ongoing thing of Torchwood being everywhere in season 2, but they’ve expanded a little on that era of torchwood in expanded stuff

I don’t understand. Series 2 is good. Series 13 is the worst season. But Ten and Rose are not in that one. Your post feels a bit confused. Maybe read it again and rewrite it?

Ghost Machine is an 8/10 concept for an episode, with mostly a 7/10 execution, and some tonally jarring moments that make it a 6/10
Cyberwoman is a 9/10 episode but that costume and some really just off moments (I forgot that the guy who’s knowledgable about cyber tech gropes Lisa when he first meets her…) that bring the overall down to a 7/10
Small Worlds is a very consistantly ‘meh’ episode, with everything it does being done so much better in later stories (exploration of Jack’s Past and past relationships in Miracle Day and Children of Earth, an ending where Torchwood stops further damage being done but at a huge cost in Reset, a pedophilic antagonist also in Miracle Day), 6/10
^Some thoughts after recent rewatches for TV Club but that I think is an interesting comparison that doesn’t fit in a single club post

Just listened to We Always Get Out Alive.
Absolutely brilliant performances, and very creepy and unsettling. Loved it.
At first I thought (Slight spoiler for the first couple of eps of Aliens Among Us) that Gwen got possessed, and perhaps this was the origin story of how she was taken over by Ng? I would have actually liked it even more if that were the case, as I felt the threat in this story was solved a bit too easily.
But yeah, such brilliant performances. These two are my favourite thing about Torchwood!
