With Fugitive meeting Baba Yaga (on audio) & now Abena here are we gonna see more adventures with mythological beings?

Ooh I’d love that! I really need Fugitive stories with Karvanista and/or Swarm & Azure SO BAD!

I really recommend trying to avoid them, they can make some episodes a lot less fun (thankfully it didn’t spoile my enjoyment of The Story and the Engine )

Swarm and Azure are two of my favourite villains in all of Who so I’d love to hear them facing off Fugitive

Also that reminds me I need to listen to the Lupari audio

I don’t have twitter (or x whatever it’s called at this point) I do have instagram but I barely use it so I guess that’s how I never get spoiled :sob:

Oh I don’t use any socials really, I got spoiled here on this forum (in the special leaks thread)

As a mod on the big Discord, some degree of spoiling from the leaks is inevitable, part of the job. But I somehow missed this one, other than just some rumblings that a previous Doctor was going to appear.

I really will never understand leaks :sob:

Usually I pick up leaks through osmosis from other people, thankfully this wasn’t a leak I stumbled upon, probably because it’s not negative and thus Twitter does not care for it  :sob:

A beautiful episode and once again a spectacle of photography. I loved the fugitive doctor’s cameo! Some parts seemed a bit confusing to me, maybe I’ll understand better after watching it again! And holy shit, what was that Poppy cameo?

Another pretty solid episode this week. It was a great story concept and it was very refreshing to have a black-centered story without suffering being at the core of it. I loved seeing Fifteen find community and how Belinda remarked how human it was. And the animations of the stories in the window looked great. Let me tell how happy I was when I saw the Fugitive Doctor, it was good to see her again. And I am always a sucker for seeing previous Doctors for brief moments.

My gripes with the episode aren’t too big, mostly stuff others have mentioned. While I agree that it made sense for Belinda to take the sideline in this episode, she kind of had a nothing presence. I agree that it seemed like a scene had been cut that gave her a bit more context to stand on. And her “hurt people hurt people” line just felt very clumsy to me, I think it could have been rephrased in a more impactful way. Additionally, I was also confused on how Fifteen would remember being Fugitive without opening the Fob Watch.

It’s funny because at one point in this episode, I really wasn’t feeling it, then I suddenly really was feeling it. It helped that the route they acted like they were taking wasn’t the one they took, and all the other Doctors and Fugitive and such…

I rated based on how I was feeling at the end, but I’m feeling like I really need to just rewatch the whole season once it’s over and readjust my ratings.
